I don't know!, Chise was more like Bella from Twillight in first season, the whole show gave that vibe! Art and animation were great, a lot of mysteries but very slow rhythm, it never flies!

How does making all countries into one solve global warming? Finally! Gogoanime-kun has uploaded a decent anime. I've been waiting for days since the last ep from tensura just to see this

Well, it's always good to see more of this. More of Elias Holding Chise is always heartwarming.

I did not expect to see more of Chise because last time, I heard the sales weren't too promising for a season 2 but I am glad they try to give it another boost. I just can't get enough of how stunning the visuals are when it comes to their BG. The flowers in the beginning, I thought they put a photo frame on top of the animation <3

It was the same for the First OVA they made, that opening shot of London at night is breath taking, and the animation and artstyle was and still is insane,
not many shows have something moving every frame, even the talky bits there is some hair swaying, or something moving in the background, or elaborate expressive moments while talking,

What I'm saying is, the first OVA boosted the sales immensely, and got season 1 approved, probably will be the same this time around, although, there is currently not really enough material for a second season as it is.

Every time I think I get the pattern of what does & doesn't get a second season, something comes around to prove me wrong. This is certainly not that popular and I'm sure the interest has been dropping with the latest Academy arc, which made quite a few people nostalgic for the unique atmosphere which is lacking in that arc.

That it gets a second season is therefore quite suprising. But it also seems they might completely change the anime version.

that really ruins it for me. I dont want to know nor relate her VA to any other character. Otherwise ill see those characters in this one and that ruins the immersion to the story completely.

I remember the first time I saw the anime for this, I was mesmerized cuz of the sheer brilliance in animation and BGM.. I'm hoping for more mesmerizing moments in here too..

fun fact: inspiration for Mahoutsukai no yome comes from red indians' legends about being called skin-walker. Creator of Mahoutsukai no yome didn't fully copied everything from the legends but there's still good amount of similarities.

Really? Iirc skin walker was some shape-shifting witch. If i had to guess it's more inspired by Celtic/Irish/English mythology.
Though I'd like to know about the similarities.
